Quad City High Flyers

This is a hand selected group of athletes which will perform in demonstrations, assemblies, shows, parades, competitions, talent shows, etc. 

These athletes MUST have a great GPA to be involved with this LIVE TOURING throughout the Quad Cities.

 

The ONE and ONLY "Quad City High Flyers" Originated in 1985 with Head Coach Sheila Rae from "Sheila Rea's Dance and Gymnastics"

History of the "Quad City High Flyers"

Sheila Rae's EST in 1964 and still going strong with her children.

The name originated in 1985 with Head Coach and Choreographer "Sheila Rae" from "Sheila Rae's Dance and Gymnastics"

Sheila STARTED "Power Tumbling" in the Quad Cities in 1962 when she was only 16 years old.- We will continue to carry on her name ALWAYS. Mother of 4 children. Three of which have their own GYMS.  4 in Illinois, 4 in Tennessee, 2 in Kentucky. Coming soon will be Sheila's second gereration grand daughter opening her very own as well.

The Quad City High Flyers was a TUFF ACT to follow they toured with the Worlds one and only "Jesse White Tumblers" (Google them you'll FLIP!)  Traveling all over the US and Canada showing the BEST of the BEST the QC HighFlyers are one of a kind. 

There are TWO first generation highflyers and ONE third generation highflyer still involved in power tumbling and they are here at ETA.

The Quad City High Flyers TOURED with JESSIE WHITE POWER TUMBLING TEAM of Chicago, Illinois for many years.  - Jessie and Sheila are still close friends.

The name "HighFlyers actually started out as a suggestion from Jesse White himself (yep the secretary of state) to Sheila. 

Sheila then passed it down to her children and their gyms.
