Cari Winter is a highly respected coach and mentor in the Quad Cities, with over 30 years of experience in power tumbling. The daughter of Sheila Rae—founder of Sheila Rae’s Dance and Gymnastics—Cari grew up immersed in the world of elite training. Since 1992, she has coached over 10,000 athletes, instilling discipline, respect, and a love for the sport. As a former elite gymnast, choreographer, power tumbler, and dancer, she knows exactly what it takes to achieve excellence. Now coaching her third generation of athletes, Cari remains hands-on in every aspect of Elite Athletics QC, from guiding staff and traveling with teams to supporting families and fostering a positive, family-centered environment.

Mia Winter is the second eldest daughter of Elite Athletics QC (EAQC) founder, Cari Winter. As a co-owner of EAQC, she plays a pivotal role in the business, overseeing operations as the Accounts Manager, Tumbling Team Director, and Public Relations Representative. Mia’s journey in gymnastics and cheerleading began the moment she could walk. Raised in the world of competitive tumbling and cheer, she quickly developed an elite-level skill set, allowing her to understand firsthand the discipline, dedication, and training it takes to be a top-performing athlete. With years of experience as both a competitor and a coach, Mia has led countless athletes to national and state championships in competitive tumbling. In the world of cheerleading, her expertise has produced numerous grand and division championship teams, further solidifying EAQC as a powerhouse in the industry. Her coaching philosophy centers around pushing athletes to their fullest potential—developing not just their skills, but also their confidence, resilience, and determination. Mia is deeply committed to helping every athlete become the best version of themselves, both on and off the competition floor. Through her leadership, dedication, and passion for the sport, Mia continues to shape the future of EAQC and the athletes who train within its walls. Ruby WinterRuby Winter is an integral force behind Elite Athletics QC, where she serves as the Cheer Team Director, co-owner, business manager, and PR representative. As the eldest daughter of Cari Winter, Ruby has dedicated her life to the sport, carrying on her family’s deep-rooted legacy in gymnastics, tumbling, and cheerleading.
Her journey as an athlete began before she was even two years old, setting the stage for a career marked by passion, dedication, and excellence. By 2008, she transitioned into coaching, and by 2011, she was leading competitive athletes to championship titles. Over the years, Ruby has coached more than 25 national champions in tumbling and an astounding 150 state champions. In the world of competitive cheer, Ruby’s impact is undeniable. Under her leadership, her teams have secured: • 15 national championship rings • Countless grand and division championships • Numerous national bid winners • A Worlds bid winner and finalist Ruby is recognized for her ability to push athletes to their highest potential, creating champions who dominate at the state, national, and international levels. Her knowledge of the sport, coupled with her leadership and innovative coaching techniques, makes her a driving force in the success of Elite Athletics QC. Beyond coaching, Ruby plays a vital role in managing business operations and public relations for EAQC, ensuring the gym continues to thrive and grow. Carlos Fetterer
Carlos Fetterer - All Stars Director
Carlos is a seasoned athlete and coach with a passion for excellence in athletics. He began his journey as a dancer in 2006 and ended in 2012. Fast forwarding his tumbling journey at Elite Athletics QC, where he honed his skills for six years and coaching for seven years. As a member of All-Star cheerleading and Tumble Team at Elite from 2016 to 2022, Carlos collected numerous National and State Champion titles, showcasing his dedication and talent. His remarkable achievements led him to secure a full-ride scholarship at St. Ambrose University (SAU), where he currently reigns as a 3-time Collegiate National Champion from 2022 to 2024. Within those same years he lead a 2 teams to All Star Worlds to compete at the biggest competition of the year. Carlos attributes much of his success to Elite Athletics QC, a gym that stands out for its family-oriented atmosphere, highly skilled coaches, and commitment to nurturing athletes to their fullest potential. As a coach, Carlos finds fulfillment in witnessing the joy of athletes mastering new skills and fostering strong bonds within the team, embodying the core values of Elite Athletics QC. |

Crysania BushCrysania started as an athlete here at elite in 2013. She cheered competitively until the age of 20. She has been coaching competitive cheer and recreational tumbling since 2013. she has countless division championships with her teams. 8 grand championships and 1 worlds bid placing the in the top 10. She understands and has a love for the sport that will never fade. Crysania loves EAQC and thinks its the best place to be. I moved to Japan with my husband last year 2023, and I couldn't leave ELITE. I now help with SOCIAL MEDIA from Japan! I come home in 2025
