SCORPIONS ELITE allstar CHEER
team COACHES
Madison KrauseMy name is Madi Krause and I am an Allstar cheer coach for Scorpions Elite.
My cheer career started at Elite Athletic QC when I was 11 years old. I went on to do Allstar cheer and then later join the competitive cheer team at St. Ambrose University and took National Titles with the team! I have been a cheer coach for 3 going on 4 years here at Elite. Elite is a place that not only focuses on building great athletes. As a whole, this gym wants to better the futures of any person who participates in our programs. Being a part of Elite is being a part of a family that wants nothing more than to see its members grow. She started cheering with Cari and Elite in 2010. Coach Madi has also has experience as a collegiate cheerleading at St. Ambrose University. Madi takes pride in how ELITE is one big family. Madi loves that you can see the love the kids have for the sport, the gym, and each other every time they take the floor. Madi coached LEVEL 1 & 3 in 2023-24 season into the WORLD ALL STAR Competition! Elle WeberElle started tumbling in 2008. she cheered and tumbled competitively at ELITE. she has been coaching since 2021. Elle loves EAQC and the family ENVIRONMENT it has to offer. Elle coached LEVEL 1 in 2023-24 season into the WORLD ALL STAR Competition!

Christine BakerChristine has been involved in gymnastics, tumbling, cheer and dance since 1996, some of which Cari was her coach! with Cari at the head of the organization and her daughters running it with her, the talent in coaching at QC far surpasses the coaching anywhere else. The family, christian atmosphere, and mission (along with proper technique taught) sets every child up to be successful. Christine thinks the best things about coaching is seeing the kids faces light up when they learn a new skill, watching them progress, and watching them hit a cheer routine after working through difficulties during training. there's no other feeling like it in the world! Christine is a 5 time national qualifier. her senior year in high school she was captain of the competitive cheer squad and made it to semi-finals at nationals in 2008. I began dancing when I was six and started gymnastics when I was 8. I had Cari as a power tumbling coach for several years before I transitioned more into dance and cheer. I've been cheering competitively since I was 12 starting at Knights Elite. I cheered competitively all through high school for Knights Elite/Comets and was also the captain of my competitive cheer team at Pleasant Valley High School. I kept up my skills while I attended my first few years of college on an adult team where we traveled and performed exhibition routines. After college, I became a crime scene investigator and I've worked in Westminster California, Houston Texas, and Davenport Iowa. I had my daughter in 2022 at which point I switched careers into real estate and that's also what allowed me to begin coaching at Elite. What I love most about Elite is that we are set apart because we are a generational gym. Cari's mom started this journey years ago, then Cari took over and she was my coach as a young adult. While I was there, Cari had Ruby and Mia and now they are grown and acting directors of the gym and here I am coaching alongside them. We have so many past athletes that turn coaches because this gym truly is a family endeavor, whether by blood or not. I don't think that kind of history exists anywhere else in the Quad Cities and that's what sets this coaching staff's passion apart from others. Christine coached LEVEL 2 in 2023-24 season into the WORLD ALL STAR Competition! |
